It's time I 'frontlined' my greyounds, though I check them regularly for parasites. We have a plastic hook from the vet which are very good for 'unwinding' ticks and getting them to let go and withdraw their mouth parts from the animal, and, I guess, though fortunately I've not had to try it, from human skin.
