If you fancy having a go, this is what the 2013 race was like:
Natur Cymru is a quarterly magazine about the wildlife and environment of Wales. As of 1st April 2017 Natur Cymru has ceased publishing. We hope this is a temporary situation. Back copies are still available for sale, please see our website for full details and to find out more about Natur Cymru and its role in reporting on Welsh wildlife www.naturcymru.org.uk

Ras y Moelwyn 2013
Not
only does the sun shine on the righteous but also on the runners of Ras y
Moelwyn. It’s got to be the most atmospheric of all the Welsh mountain races
and is always held the day before the London Marathon. Just over a hundred set off on the 10.5 mile
route rising 2,800 feet before plunging back down to Blaenau Ffestiniog. The
winner was home in 79 minutes. Thanks to Antur Stiniog, all the marshalls,
first aiders and members of South Snowdonia Mountain Rescue for making it a
great event.
